Pest control in Riga and the surrounding area — we reply to your enquiry within 5 minutes, weekends included

Emergency pest control callout

Some situations cannot wait: a wasp nest beside a child’s bedroom window, bedbugs in a rental flat before a new tenant moves in, cockroaches in a restaurant kitchen before an inspection. In those cases speed is the whole point.

How an urgent enquiry works

Fill in the form and describe the situation. We reply within 5 minutes, confirm the details and agree the earliest possible treatment slot.

Mark the urgency as urgent for today in the form — those enquiries are handled as a priority.

The more precisely you describe the situation — which insect, where you saw it, how long it has been going on, how large the space is — the faster we can name a specific solution and a time.

What is and is not an emergency

Honestly: not every insect needs an urgent visit, and we would rather say so.

  • Genuinely urgent: a wasp or hornet nest by an entrance, window, terrace or children’s play area, particularly if anyone has an allergy; bedbugs, where every day of delay means new eggs and further spread, including to neighbours; cockroaches in a food business before an inspection or opening; a mass emergence, which points to a harbourage inside the building; and insects at a property with a fixed deadline — a tenant changeover, a sale, an event.
  • Usually fine to wait a few days: the odd spider; a few ants in the kitchen; one wasp that flew in with no nest nearby; silverfish in the bathroom; autumn insects coming in through open windows.

What to do while you wait

  • Do not spray shop products. With cockroaches and bedbugs, repellent aerosols scatter the population deeper into the structure and into neighbouring flats, and make the professional job larger.
  • Do not move furniture between rooms. With bedbugs that spreads the problem instead of containing it.
  • Keep away from a wasp nest. Do not block the entrance and do not attempt removal yourself; a disturbed colony is defensive.
  • Photograph what you see. A photo of the insect or the damage often lets us confirm the species before arriving.
  • Note the pattern. When and where you see them, and how many — it narrows the source.

Weekends and evenings

We work at weekends. For many properties — offices, shops, restaurants — a weekend or an evening is actually the most convenient slot, because the treatment does not interrupt trading.

Contact is through the enquiry form only. Fill it in at any time and we reply and agree a treatment slot.

What it costs

Prices are the same as for a scheduled visit: from €55 for a one-room flat, €60 for two rooms and €65 for three, and from €120 for a house. A wasp nest is from €60 and a repeat treatment from €60. Commercial premises are quoted after a survey.

What varies is availability rather than the rate: an urgent slot depends on how the day is already booked, which is why the exact time is agreed once we have the details. Full figures are on the prices page.

Which pests genuinely justify urgency

Three cases account for almost every genuinely urgent enquiry we receive.

  • Wasps and hornets near people. A nest by a door, window, terrace or play area is a health risk rather than a nuisance, and it grows through the season. If anyone in the household has a sting allergy, treat it as urgent regardless of the nest’s size.
  • Bedbugs. Delay is measured in eggs. A population left for a month is not the same job as one dealt with in a week, and in a block of flats it becomes the neighbours’ problem too.
  • Cockroaches in a food business. The risk is regulatory and reputational, and both escalate faster than the infestation does.

Everything else — ants, silverfish, spiders, autumn flies — is worth dealing with properly rather than immediately.

How we prioritise enquiries

We reply to every enquiry within 5 minutes, but the order in which visits are scheduled follows the risk rather than the order enquiries arrived.

Ahead of the queue go stinging insects near people, particularly where somebody has a known allergy; bedbugs in a property with a fixed deadline such as a tenant changeover; and cockroaches in food premises facing an inspection or an opening. In each case a day of delay changes the size or the consequence of the job materially.

Everything else is scheduled at the earliest workable slot, which is often the same week and frequently sooner. If your situation is genuinely time-bound, say why in the enquiry — a specific deadline is far more useful to us than the word urgent on its own.

We will also tell you honestly when something can safely wait a few days. Selling an emergency visit for a handful of ants would be easy and we would rather not.

Yes. We take enquiries and carry out treatments at weekends as well.
The rate is set by floor area, the extent of the infestation and the method, not by urgency. We confirm the figure once we have the details.
Through the enquiry form — that is the only route. We reply within 5 minutes and take it from there.
No. With cockroaches and bedbugs, shop aerosols scatter the population and make the professional treatment larger and more expensive.
We reply to every enquiry within 5 minutes and offer the earliest slot we have, which is often the same day. Say in the form that it is urgent and give the property type and the address, because that is what decides how quickly we can get to you.
