Pest control by property type
Every property type has its own constraints — preparation, working hours, method and requirements. Choose yours.
Why the property type changes the treatment
The same pest needs a different approach in different properties — not because the insect is different, but because the conditions we work in are.
In an apartment in a block, the decisive factor is the influence of shared ventilation shafts and neighbouring flats: treatment without a barrier at those crossing points gives a short-lived result. In a house the key is the building perimeter, because insects come in from outside. In a restaurant it is food safety requirements and night work. In a warehouse, volume and stock protection. In a hotel, speed and discretion, because room downtime costs more than the treatment.
Private and commercial properties
- In private properties — apartments, houses, summer houses, garages — what matters is the result and safety for the household. Prices are on the prices page: apartment from €55, house from €120.
- In commercial properties — restaurants, shops, warehouses, factories, offices, hotels — three more things are critical alongside the result: business continuity (treatment outside opening hours, no downtime), documentation for inspections and audits, and discretion in front of customers.
We quote commercial work after a survey, because floor area, number of zones and risk level vary too much for a single figure. See pest control for businesses.
One-off treatment or regular servicing
For properties not permanently exposed to risk — apartments, houses, garages — a one-off treatment when a problem appears is usually enough.
For properties with constant goods or people flow — food businesses, warehouses, hotels, shared areas in apartment blocks — regular servicing with monitoring costs less in practice than repeated emergency callouts, and prevents the situation where a customer or an inspector is the one who spots the insect.

What sets the plan in your property
Whatever the property type, four questions shape the plan, and we answer them during the survey.
- What the pest is and how far it has spread. This sets the scope and whether two treatments are needed.
- When the property can be treated. In commercial premises that usually means evening, night or weekend; in an apartment, a time when you can be out for a few hours.
- What constraints exist. Food handling, children, pets, allergies, sensitive equipment or stock — these decide the method.
- Whether the source is inside the property. If insects come in from neighbouring premises, shared areas or with deliveries, the treatment has to include a barrier at the entry routes — otherwise the problem returns.
We discuss these before the work rather than discovering them halfway through.
